Finally finished with some Blitzkrieg Germans

Here is a German motorcycle with sidecar and a 20 mm flak 38. Both are from Black Tree Design. While the end result look quite good I can't really recommend them. Both were very hard to build, with no instructions, and the motorcycle came with major flashing on the driver and a rifle that broke off. I had to exchange one of the loaders for the flak 38, since the guy included came with a shell for a flak 88. Basically, it's thicker than the cannon itself. I do like that the trailer was included though, even though I doubt I'll have a use for it, other than looking good on the table.

I've also finished a couple of monsters for Mansions of Madness, a Star Spawn (aka Cthulhu) and a ghost. Simple paintjobs, but I'm pretty happy with them.

Mansions of Madness, the first investigators

A few years ago I got the board game Mansions of Madness first edition for my birthday. We tried it once or twice, but didn't really like the Game Master / Overlord concept.
However, after trying the second edition a few times and really liking it, I bought it, and since you can use your first ed models in second ed I finally started painting them up.
So, here are the first edition investigators painted up. It's a pity they are in slightly different scales, but quite decent for board game minis.
I do like the jeans, the old cloth effect comes through quite well. If you wonder about the scale the jeans clad guitarist is 29 mm from foot to eyes.

The infamous first entry

What with Photobucket shooting themselves in the head it's become much harder to post forum entries. So, I'll finally try this blog malarkey.

Let's see if I can post a picture. This one is from Star Wars: Imperial Assault, painted a few years ago.
